The gallery invites the Gravity festival, the first graffiti festival in the world on the theme of the environment. It aims to make the public aware of the seriousness of the current ecological situation.
The first edition took place in June 2021 at the GoodPlanet Foundation of Yann Arthus-Bertrand in Paris. The second at the same place in May 2022. The third will take place on May 13 and 14, 2023, still at GoodPlanet.
The festival has many components but the two main ones are:
-An artistic component with 10 world-renowned urban artists performing 10 works on the theme of environmental protection in front of the public.
-An informative component with round tables, meetings, conferences, workshops on the same theme.
The idea is that all the participants contribute to making the public aware of the seriousness of the current ecological situation. Everything is free.
To finance the festival, the organization relies on partnerships, sponsorship and patronage, but also on the sale of works by urban artists. The proceeds from this sale go half to the artists and half to the festival to finance its organization.
