Bombe Météo or ,Weather bomb in English is a term that frequently appears in the news when a major storm is brewing. Behind this dramatic phrase lies a precise scientific definition: a low-pressure system that intensifies explosively in less than 24 hours.
The Nature Forte gallery has decided to appropriate this expression for the duration of an exhibition.
The project aims to raise awareness about climate-related disasters and the ecological situation more broadly. Individual works will not necessarily focus on this theme; it is the project as a whole that will raise awareness.
We invited around thirty artists to express themselves with free rein regarding form, color, technique, and so on. The only constraint was the use of at least one spray paint can in the artwork—whether intact, crushed, cut, assembled with others, etc.—with the final piece required to be wall-mountable. As usual, some artists took liberties with the rules, and a few cans will be displayed laying on a table.
